In 1 Corinthians chapter 12 St. Paul taught that the Holy Spirit’s work is first, to give faith in Jesus Christ – to enable the believer to say, “Jesus is Lord!” Second, the Holy Spirit gifts a variety of grace gifts to enable Christians to work together for the common good. Sunday’s sermon (Jan 16) considered Paul’s teachings.
